Church adding to Red Rocks' "riots, rock bans and redemption" reputation by waging war on scalpers

Morrison, Colo. (Press Release) -- Eric Church is again taking strong action to ensure his fans come first. Last November, he revealed to the more than 80,000 members of the Church Choir that inspiration had struck and resulted in his new album Mr. Misunderstood, which he shared with them first and free of charge before putting it on sale. That insistence that his fans come first now has the man Stereoum dubbed "our greatest working rock star" standing up to scalpers in light of recent on-sales for his back-to-back intimate engagements at Red Rocks Amphitheater.

"I get asked all the time about my favorite venue, and I always answer the same way. Red Rocks. When people ask why, I just smile and say, 'you must not have been there.' It's truly breathtaking," the ACM Entertainer of the Year nominee shares. "I'm honored to have two shows there."

Brett Harris, who released his sophomore album, Up In The Air, March 4th makes an appearance in NYC at Rockwood Music Hall on April 7th.

Harris has said of the album, “The phrase Up in the Air struck me as being true of the climate in which this album was made.
I started recording it at a time when a lot of my peers were saying goodbye to their 20s and were witnessing their careers either take off or give way to a more conventional way of life. At the time, I wasn’t completely sure of how that was going to work itself out in my own life.”

Those themes and dilemmas are addressed in the ten original songs that comprise Up in the Air; songs that lift you with thier purposeful stories of journey, love and positivity. Bound to be a great show in an intimate setting, make this one you don't miss!

Thursday, April 7

Here comes TIM MONTANA AND THE SHREDNECKS...

(Press Release) The Butte, MT trio--Tim Montana (lead vocals, guitar), Bryce Paul (bass) and Brian Wolff (drums)--is getting ready to head out on a U.S. and Canada tour with fellow bearded rockers, ZZ Top starting March 22 in Youngstown, OH at the Stambaugh Auditorium Concert Hall. The trek will include a very special headlining gig of their own in Nashville on April 28 at the Wildhorse Saloon.

“I’ve been listening to ZZ Top for as long as I can remember,” MONTANA says. “ZZ Top kept me company in my childhood growing up off the grid in Montana. Taking the stage with them is a dream come true, because their music was my companion for so many years. I’m glad to call one of my heroes one of my best buds.”

As Billy Gibbons says, “We’re happy T. MONTANA AND THE SHREDNECKS have joined up with us for the ZZ Top tour of 2016.  It’s a beardapalooza for sure. Seriously, TIM is the real thing — he’s a little bit country with lots of hard rocks or, maybe he’s a rocker in touch with some serious country roots.  And, THE SHREDNECKS' song ,’Weed and Whiskey’ is universal. It's a raucous round of revelry coming on strong.”
