Lindi Ortega   joins Chris Stapleton’s All-American Road Show across Canada with a new EP in hand, a stark, dark quartet of songs called  Til The Goin’ Gets Gone. Recorded in Nashville, Ortega’s new EP forgoes the honky-tonk trimmings of previous albums in favour of ambiance and minimalism. The songs, described as "stripped down laments," explore the push and pull between doubt and resilience, complete with a shadowy, lingering Townes Van Zandt cover.

New CD Front Porch Sessions  debuts at #1 on the iTunes Blues charts  and at #2 on the  Billboard   Blues charts, just behind the Rolling Stones.

Watch the video HERE

BROWN COUNTY, Ind. — “One More Thing” is the latest video from  Reverend Peyton’s Big Damn Band’s new  Thirty Tigers    release  Front Porch Sessions.  The Reverend speaks for the working class  in this haunting, politically aware song about living paycheck to paycheck. He shows a new depth in his songwriting and a  social  consciousness  in the tradition of Guthrie, Springsteen  and  Mellencamp.

The Reverend recently explained, “The song isn't a response to any one thing. It’s just words I’ve had to live from time to time in my life. Words a lot of my neighbors are living right now.  A lot of Americans are suffering."

The video was shot on the front porch at Reverend Peyton’s home in  Brown County, Indiana  and the videography production and editing was done by  Tyler Zoller.

(Press Release) "America's Songwriter" Jimmy Webb will be honored with a special tribute show at Carnegie Hall on May 3rd. Presented by City Winery, the event will celebrate Webb's singular legacy and his timeless hit songs, including "Wichita Lineman," "MacArthur Park," "Galveston," "Didn't We," and "All I Know."

A Celebration of the Music of Jimmy Webb: The Cake and the Rain features a stellar initial lineup of artists, many of whom have personal ties to the songwriter: Ashley Campbell (daughter of Glen Campbell), Art Garfunkel, Amy Grant, Toby Keith, Judy Collins, Marilyn McCoo and Billy Davis, Jr. of the Fifth Dimension, Johnny Rivers and Dwight Yoakam are all confirmed to perform with more artists to be announced soon. Webb himself will be performing at the event, as well. Richard Lynch Announces Release of New Album, 'Mending Fences'

3/20/2017

Picture
(Press Release) Since the release of his 2013 debut album, The Last of a Dying Breed, Richard Lynch has been blazing a groundbreaking trail and leaving a legacy of "real" traditional country music in his wake. In 2015, Lynch solidified his place as one of country's most original and authentic artists with the release of his breakthrough album,  A Better Place. The album's title track became a #1 AM/FM airplay chart single and was named the #1 True Country Song of 2016, according to Roots Music Report. Lynch followed this enormous success with a smoldering pair of chart-topping radio single releases: his blue collar anthem, "We're American Proud" and "Love Tattoo," a duet with country star, Ronnie McDowell. The latter was released as a benefit for the Love Tattoo Foundation, an organization founded by Lynch.

Now, Richard Lynch, in association with Twang Thang Country and MTS Management Group, is happy to announce the release of Richard’s new CD, Mending Fences   (Fence Row Records.) The album will be released on  April 1, 2017 at a benefit concert for Richard’s Love Tattoo Foundation. The first single, “Cut And Paste” (written by JR Nick Nichols) will be released to radio on the same day.
