(Press Release) Modern blues singer The Reverend Shawn Amos is on a mission to spread his secular gospel to all, and today has shared a new video for his track "You're Gonna Miss Me (When I Get Home)." PopMatters observes the undeniable appeal of Amos' musical evangelism: "...his singing seduces the blues-starved masses and his harmonica playing makes them believers."

Amos was also recently a featured musical guest on Good Day New York, as well as ABC News and Classicalite.
"Every road I’ve travelled has led me here. LOS ANGELES, Calif. (Press Release) – As 10,000 Maniacs prepare to celebrate their 35th anniversary this year, they’re still doing what they do best, Playing Favorites. On June 3, 2016, Omnivore Recordings will release a live recording of their best-known songs, drawn from all eras of their multi-platinum career. While the album will be available physically and digitally worldwide, the band is offering pre-orders, as well as rare and exclusive items via a PledgeMusiccampaign at http://www.pledgemusic.com/projects/10kmaniacslivealbum.

Formed in 1981 in Jamestown, N.Y., 10,000 Maniacs struggled until their first full-length album release was spun on BBC Radio 1 by legendary DJ John Peel, giving the band their first minor U.K. hit, “My Mother the War” and enabling them to tour overseas behind it. Their major label debut,The Wishing Chair, was produced by another legend, Joe Boyd, and released to much critical acclaim. However, it was the Peter Asher-produced follow-up, In My Tribe, that went double-platinum in the U.S. and yielded the first of a string of radio hits with “Like the Weather.” Subsequent releases Blind Man’s Zoo, Our Time in Eden, MTV Unplugged and Love Among the Ruinssent more songs up the charts, most notably “These Are Days” and the Bruce Springsteen/Patti Smith-penned “Because the Night.”

On June 17, the ranch hand turned troubadour Luke Bell will release a self-titled album on Bill Hill Records, distributed by Thirty Tigers. Today, NPR Music premiered the video for his single "Sometimes," the first track to be released off the forthcoming LP.

Lars Gotrich of NPR Music said, "Luke Bell has a classic, brassy country voice that conjures images of both dimples and tears in a beer. His songs exist somewhere in the same arena, because just as easy as it to be charmed by Bell's clever turns of phrase, he'll hit you upside the head."

The track is the second release from the group's forthcoming new record "Don't Love Nobody" set to drop on June 24, 2016. Laurel & the Love-In's new single "Gonna Do" is a Nashville throwback rock and roll blend of bad attitude and Southern spunk, and Laurel Sorenson (lead vocals, keys) herself is a force to be reckoned with.
