Nashville, Tenn. (April 14, 2016 PR) – Country newcomer Sammy Arriaga is celebrating Cinco de Mayo 2016 with the May 6th release of his debut EP, Banjos N' Bongos (Acoustic Mixtape), his first effort for LA-based Latium Records. On the six stripped-down tracks of Banjos N' Bongos (produced by Lalo Guzman) – including an intimate take on current single “Cold In Miami” – Arriaga puts his outstanding vocals on full display, melding the bold rhythmic elements of his Latin heritage with infectious pop country melodies and proving he can deliver lyrics that strike right at the heart.

“The recording process for the ‘Acoustic Mixtape’ was surreal. We found so many different ways of meshing my Latin roots with pop country sounds to create a cool fusion that I hope fans jam out to,” said Sammy Arriaga.

(Press Release) For 17 years, The Hackensaw Boys have plowed the asphalt, bringing their raw, gritty version of American roots music to the venues and streets that originally inspired them. Born in Virginia, The Hackensaw Boys have at timesoperated more as a collective than a band, sometimes boasting up to twenty members. What’s kept them together is a burning hot vision of American roots music brought kicking and screaming into a new age, fueled as much by a rowdy punk spirit as by the traditional masters that first inspired them. Now with their new album, Charismo (April 15, 2016 on Free Dirt Records)–their first studio album in almost a decade–The Hackensaw Boys have a new lineup and a new lease on life. Led by founding member, guitarist and songwriter David Sickmen, they’re back on the road with new songs, determined to get their fans back on the dancefloors they remember so well.

Video Premiere: Shalo Lee "Copperhead Road"

4/13/2016

Before Shalo Lee started writing songs, she was writing stories, poetry and books of things that she would keep to herself. Growing up, she learned to sing from her sister, played in cover bands in college and even spent time working at Mickey Gilley's theater singing Patsy Cline songs. With the goal of making a record always in mind, Lee met Ken Valdez and later Owen Satori both of whom helped her write for her debut album, Hometown Girl, which was released late last year.

One of the songs on Hometown Girl is Lee's rockin' rendition of Steve Earle's "Copperhead Road," which closes out the album. TDC is pleased to premiere the video below.

ASHEVILLE, NC (Press Release) -- Town Mountain’s Southern Crescent Debuts at #4 on the Billboard Bluegrass Chart!

Raw, soulful, and with plenty of swagger, Town Mountain, based in Asheville, NC, released their 5th studio album Southern Crescent on April 1, 2016 on LoHi Records. Produced and engineered by GRAMMY winner Dirk Powell, the album was recorded in Powell’s studio The Cypress House in Breaux Bridge, LA.

To celebrate the Billboard debut, Town Mountain is offering fans a FREE download of “Wildbird” here →https://soundcloud.com/town-mountain/06-wildbird. “The record features an expected dose of fast string picking, including the opening fiddle workout ‘St. Augustine,’ but as it unfolds it becomes a well-rounded effort full of front-porch song craft that touches on various shades of roots music…” writes Blue Ridge Outdoors. “The standout, though, is ‘Wildbird,’ [penned by Barker] a classic highway song about curing a restless mind with road miles; perfect for a bluegrass band that sounds pretty comfortable getting outside of its comfort zone.”

PictureCourtesy: Shock Ink
(Nashville, Press Release) - Record-breaking, eight-time CMA Musician of the Year, producer, and singer-songwriter Mac McAnally has written smash hits for numerous artists, including Alabama, Kenny Chesney, and Sawyer Brown as well as continues to collaborate and tour on the road with Jimmy Buffett.

He has also written songs not so much for chart success as "to document some lesson I'd figured out about life that could potentially make me a better person."

One such song is "With A Straight Face." Even before he premiered it at the release party for his latest album A.K.A. Nobody, he knew that this haunting ballad had the potential to change lives and heal wounds. And now people are hearing the tune and its compassion resonates.

Recorded with a small string section and piano, "With A Straight Face" tells the stories of two gay children, a girl and a boy. It captures, not without sympathy, the parents' inability to understand what their kids are going through. "'The family name - you ought to be ashamed," McAnally sings.

PictureCourtesy: PaulMcCartney.com
Paul McCartney has confirmed that his hotly anticipated, brand new One On One tour will be coming to New Jersey’s MetLife Stadium, home to the New York Football Giants and the New York Jets.

On August 7, Paul will return to New Jersey for the first time in 14 years for one night only. This will be the only tri-state area stop for the leg of this new One On One tour which promises to unveil a dazzling re-designed set, dozens of classics from the most beloved catalog in popular music, spanning Paul's entire career--as a solo artist, member of Wings and of course as a Beatle—and no shortage of surprises.

One On One is the first new Paul McCartney tour since the juggernaut that was Out There came to its stunning conclusion on October 22, 2015 with Paul’s first ever concert in Buffalo, NY. Out There’s finale capped off an incredible 2015, in which the tour played 27 shows in 22 cities throughout the world, with highlights including Paul’s historic debut in South Korea—where the crowd at Seoul Olympic Stadium’s refusal to stop singing the refrain to “Hey Jude” literally forced Paul to reprise the song in the first encore, playing that signature bassline live for the first time—three nights at the Tokyo Dome and one at Budokan, a sold out stand at Paris’ majestic Stade de France, more than a dozen packed arena shows across the U.S., UK and Europe, and triumphant headlines at festivals such as Firefly, Roskilde, and Lollapalooza in Chicago—the latter a tour de force performance for a 100,000-strong crowd featuring a guest appearance from Alabama Shakes’ Brittany Howard on “Get Back.”

The Paul McCartney live experience is everything any music lover could ever want from a rock show—and so much more: Nearly three hours worth of the greatest moments from the last 50 years of music, dozens of songs that have formed the soundtracks of our lives. Paul and his band have played an unparalleled range of venues and locations: outside the Coliseum in Rome, Moscow's Red Square, Buckingham Palace, The White House, a free show in Mexico for over 400,000 people, the last ever show at San Francisco’s Candlestick Park where The Beatles played their final concert 1966, and even one performance broadcast live into Space! Featuring Paul's band of the last 10+ years – Paul "Wix" Wickens (keyboards), Brian Ray (bass/guitar), Rusty Anderson (guitar) and Abe Laboriel Jr (drums) – the show is never anything short of life-changing.

The One On One Tour will debut a brand new production, as always utilizing state of the art audio and video technology and to ensure an unforgettable experience from every seat in the house. Employing massive screens, lasers, fireworks and, of course, a staggering selection of the best songs ever written or performed, every Paul McCartney show promises a once in a lifetime evening that transcends and elevates the potential of live music.

Tickets for the New Jersey date will be on sale Friday, April 22 at 10am EST via Ticketmaster.com or 800-745-3000.  If tickets remain they will also be available at the MetLife Stadium Box Office beginning Monday, April 25 at 11am EST.

American Express® Card Members can purchase tickets before the general public beginning Monday, April 18 at 10am EST through Thursday, April 21 at 10pm EST.

Keep checking PaulMcCartney.com for further announcements.
