Who:The New Schematics w/ Nodaway and Look Homeward
Where: The Basement East - Nashville, TN
When: May 11, 2015 - 9pm - $8

Nashville, Tn. — The New Schematics, a Nashville-based rock & roll band led by Cory Bishop and Michael Bare, release their single “Born Without Borders” on May 5. They will celebrate the release on May 11, 2015 at The Basement East; alongside Music City’s Nodaway and Durham, North Carolina’s Look Homeward.

The New Schematics’ single “Born Without Borders” was produced by Andrew Bergthold, who most notably works with Ed Cash (Needtobreathe) and Ted Tjornhom (Mutemath).

The band--officially composed of Cory Bishop and Michael Bare--began tracking Cory’s solo EP last September at producer Bergthold’s secluded studio on a sprawling ten-acre farm just outside of Nashville. Through spending over six months recording on the farm alongside some of their closest friends, The New Schematics naturally evolved into their unique sound, rooted in their undeniable camaraderie (and love for Seinfeld, Scrabble, stories and whiskey).

The New Schematics’ debut EP is due out later in 2015 with more tour dates TBA. The May 11 show at The Basement East is 21+, begins at 9pm and is $8.

With first single “On to Something Good” warmly received by fans, program directors and critics alike, Ashley Monroe has set the release date for her highly anticipated second Warner Bros. Records album.

The as-yet-untitled album will be released on July 24th and is produced by Monroe’s close friend and mentor Vince Gill and Justin Niebank, the team that helmed her 2013 Warner Bros. debut. Monroe has proven herself to be one of country music’s most enchanting and authentic figures, a singer-songwriter from East Tennessee who leavens heartbreak with humor and a pure soprano voice.

The video for “On to Something Good” premieres today exclusively through CMT broadcast and NPR online, who called it “an optimistic romp of a song” from “cool-country darling Monroe.”  The Rachel McDonald-directed piece, which was filmed in Nashville, reflects the upbeat outlook and stylish approach of the song, written by Monroe with Barry Dean and Luke Laird. Fans got a sneak peek of Monroe’s stylized vintage looks from the video on her Instagram this weekend.

Monroe recently celebrated her first No. 1 at country radio, the “Lonely Tonight” duet with Blake Shelton. She’s currently on radio tour to promote “On to Something Good” and the new album, the follow up to critical smash LIKE A ROSE. Named the 2013 country album of the year by Rolling Stone and The New York Times, LIKE A ROSE was an auspicious solo debut for the Pistol Annies member. Fans will be able to hear new music before the album’s July release as Monroe tours with Rascal Flatts and Little Big Town this summer and makes select festival appearances.

Up and coming song stylist Logan Brill grew up on the good stuff; the Tennessee native was singing around campfires with a musical family and playing in her brothers’ blues band as a teenager. While other kids were listening to the latest pop hits, Logan was listening to iconic musical figures ranging from Emmylou Harris and Dolly Parton to Bonnie Raitt, John Hiatt and Van Morrison. Her love of roots based music, both country and blues, has informed her decisions when selecting songs and impacted her powerful and pure vocals with an approachable bluesy vulnerability.

Her new album, SHUTEYE, due later this year, is the follow up to Brill’s acclaimed 2013 debut album WALKING WIRES which That Nashville Sound named one of the "Top 10 Country Albums of 2013." Already a critic’s darling, she has earned praise from Southern Living, Country Weekly, CMT and Billboard, among others.

Immediate album stand outs include the smoldering-with-sass title track “Shut Eye,” the sultry with swagger “Don’t Pick It Up,” along with “Woman On Your Mind” with a guest appearance by David Nail and “I Wish You Loved Me” with a guest appearance by Charlie Worsham.

In addition to praise from music critics, Logan has also been accepted by her peers who have taken her under their wing. Her pure pitch and ability to turn a phrase has helped her to earn coveted slots opening for the likes of Merle Haggard, Steve Earle, Dwight Yoakam, and Todd Snider, to name a few. In addition to performing at Stagecoach and Merlefest earlier this year, Brill will make her Opry debut on May 16th.

Logan Brill has quickly begun to create a buzz in music city, while carving out a niche all her own. Come see what all the buzz is about when Brill plays Midtown Live NYC for one night, May 7th, with the Heartache Sisters as support.

Where: Midtown Live 251 West 30th St NYC

"Logan Brill could well be one of the next big things in country music. The young singer – already a master at performing contemporary country – was especially expert when singing a potent version of Andrew Combs' “Month of Bad Habits” and the Dolly Parton-penned classic “Jolene.”" - Music News Miami

Nashville, TN --- May 1, 2015 --- Up and coming song stylist Logan Brill turned heads during her cross-country trek from Merlefest to her Stagecoach debut over the weekend, creating a buzz on the festivals' grounds. The Tennessee native‘s powerful vocals, commanding stage presence and high-energy band had fans flocking into the tent from all directions throughout her performance.  As though she was a seasoned veteran, Logan played up to the nearly twenty cameramen shooting her from the pit at the top of her set.  Her performance was so well received by fans and the media, that festival officials from Goldenvoice praised her claiming, “She would be perfect on the main stage.”

Shortly after her set, Brill interviewed with and was photographed by Rolling Stone, Los Angeles Times, FOX News Radio, ASX, Tune In, Yahoo, and Nashville Country Club among others following her performance. She also took time to visit with the team from KUZZ.

Immediately following her interviews, Brill headed to LA for a Monday morning performance on GOOD DAY LA and USC’s TROJAN TV Network.

Second rare solo performance in Nashville added due to overwhelming demand from fans

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Friday, May 1, 2015) – NPR has time-after-time praised Eric Church declaring his music “transcends the genre,” New York Magazine’s deemed him “not just the most consistent male country star of his generation but one of the brightest lights in any genre,” and SPIN Magazine praised him “the most exciting, sonically fearless singer in Nashville,” but Nashville? Right now they just call for MORE!

After announcing a rare solo performance opening Nashville’s new Ascend Amphitheater show one week ago for Thursday, July 30, ticket on-sales this week swiftly sold out in less than five minutes – too quick, actually, for many of the 7-time GRAMMY nominee’s own Church Choir to secure seats.

“I wouldn’t be where I am today if I didn’t listen to my fans, and this time they spoke up loud and clear,” shares Church. “I am keeping with the tradition of The Outsiders Tour in that no show will be the same, but I am adding a second night to ensure we can get all our friends in for this performance.”

Ascend Amphitheater has added a second night, Friday, July 31, 2015, with tickets going on sale to general public Thursday, May 7 at 10:00 a.m. CT. General admission pit and reserved seating is priced at $85 and general admission lawn seats are $45. For tickets, please visit Ticketmaster.com.
