SHERMAN OAKS, Calif. (Press Release) — When Rhode Island’s Velvet Crush appeared on the scene in the early 1990s, they were obviously a force to reckon with. Signing with England’s Creation Records (Oasis, My Bloody Valentine, Teenage Fanclub), they released their debut LP in 1991. But, it was 1994’sTeenage Symphonies to God (the title being a play on Brian Wilson’s description of what would become SMiLE) on Sony 550 Music that put them on the map. Co-produced by the legendary Mitch Easter, it opened America’s eyes to what those over the pond were so wild about.

But, what was the genesis of that record? We can now find out with Pre-Teen Symphonies, a collection of 16 previously unissued tracks from Velvet Crush: eight demos (including one for the classic single “Hold Me Up”) and eight tracks recorded live in 1995 at Cabaret Metro in Chicago. The set, available on CD and Digital, will be released on Omnivore Recordings on July 22, 2016.

Los Angeles, CA (May 23rd, 2016 PR) – 2016 GRAMMY Amplifier® winner Adley Stump and Miss USA Olivia Jordan star in the sassy new music video for "Don’t Wanna Love Him." Miss Jordan and Stump are best friends in real life, and their playful camaraderie helps turn the clip into fun and wild ride.

In the storyline, Stump plays an ex-girlfriend, hoping to warn her former flame's current love (Jordan) about his lying ways. The singer turns up at every opportunity: as a waitress, a busker, a clown … come to think of it, that grey haired lady in the blue shirt looks familiar, too. Adley had fun playing the various roles, and adds plenty of quirky energy to the video.

(Press Release) The Quaker City Night Hawks – Sam Anderson and David Matsler on vocals and guitars, Pat Adams on bass, Aaron Haynes on drums — are a Southern band, to be sure. But it's not the South we've come to expect from Rock and Roll. Equally influenced by ZZ Top and science fiction, the Dallas Observer's Best Band of 2015 writes of landscapes both familiar and foreign, and they are set to deliver their 9-track 'El Astronauta’ debut May 20 via Lightning Rod Records.
"This whole record sums up that feeling when you finally start to realize that you've been surrounded by bullshit," says frontman Sam Anderson. "It's immense and depressing at first to understand that things aren’t the way people told you they would be growing up, but coming out the other side, you see everybody else is in the same boat. We've been lied to for a long time, but now it's time to figure it out and move on and do something about it."

Nashville, TN (Press Release) – Birmingham, Alabama’s electrifying rock & soul octet St. Paul & The Broken Bones return on September 9th with their highly-anticipated sophomore album Sea Of Noise (RECORDS). The new album features the heart pounding infusion of old school R&B, soul, funk and rock that St. Paul & The Broken Bones have built their reputation on. Sea Of Noise documents a band going through an artistic evolution, elevating their sound to new heights. Many of the new songs are tied together by a common theme that serves as an overall commentary on society. The music displays new tones and sonic exploration that can be immediately heard in the opening track “Crumbling Light Posts, Pt. 1”, which serves as a three-part recurring premise throughout Sea Of Noise.
