Little Mammoths are a London-based Rock’n’Roll Bar Band formed in 2014, that continue charging down the vein of The Hold Steady, Drive-by Truckers and Wilco.

Comprised of Matt Owens (ex-Noah & The Whale) and some of his oldest friends, Olly Cox on bass and James Besley on drums, now neatly rounded off by renowned pedal steel player Joe Harvey-Whyte, this band have the sort of chemistry most can only dream of.

Their debut album ‘Phantom Dreams’ was recently released on vinyl in the Spring of 2017,  featuring a set of raucous songs about nightly lock-ins the band were privy to over three years of touring the West Coast of Ireland and The Scottish Highlands.  Their raw energy prompted Texan legend Ray Wylie Hubbard to declare: “If your ears dig gnawing on the gritty sounds from a young, dirty, cool rock band, I just found Little Mammoths who satisfy the craving…”

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – (April 17, 2017 Press Release) – With the dreaded tax deadline looming and the clock ticking down, Warner Music Nashville trio The Railers’ stomping new single “11:59 (Central Standard Time)” reminds listeners that “there are only 24 little hours in a day” and there’s always reason to celebrate as “tomorrow’s got another party in it.” The Railers, comprising Jonathan, Jordan and Cassandra Lawson, kept the party going this past weekend as they brought their razor-sharp musicianship to City Winery Nashville, playing a show to benefit non-profit  Blood:Water   in its mission to end the HIV/AIDS and water crises in Africa.

The Warner Music Nashville recording artists are ready to make their mark in the Nashville music community and beyond. In 2010 they committed full-time to their music careers after quitting their day jobs. Even before the release of the debut single “Kinda Dig The Feeling,” The Railers earned a spot on Rolling Stone’s “Must See Acts at CMA Fest 2014.” They have toured with some of country music’s biggest names including Brett Eldredge, Hunter Hayes, Sara Evans and Corey Smith. Their dynamic new single “11:59 (Central Standard Time)” and 90’s splashed music video is spinning now as the trio works on their debut LP, due later this year.

(Los Angeles) Award-winning, acclaimed singer-songwriter Fred Eaglesmith's talent for story telling through his songs continues to draw universal appeal and pushes the craft to a higher form. And on his new studio album, Standard, Eaglesmith's indelible characters and narratives jump to life and leave listeners satisfied even amongst imperfections and broke down machines and relationships.

Here's what's being said:
"An acclaimed wordsmith with a rough-around-the-edges voice... His rootsy musical narratives are filled with heart and packed with eccentric and authentic characters. His new release 'Standard' is a raw and intimate song-cycle..." - Chicago Tribune

"Never dull, 'Standard' is a fine collection of simple songs by one of the most poetic and honest songwriters around. Eaglesmith has taken a threadbare approach to Standard with spartan musical performances where the lyrics (and sometimes Eaglesmith's vocal) serve as the star of this show. His songs -- like those here on Standard... speak to something deeper and more: the human condition." - Roughstock

Hugh Masterson to Release 'Lost + Found' in June

4/18/2017

(Press Release) Nashville-based Americana singer-songwriter Hugh Masterson is set to release a new album, Lost + Found, his first solo effort, on June 2, 2017 via Rock Ridge Music.  The six songs cover a heartfelt journey through surviving loss and life changes while gaining self-awareness through experience. His self-deprecating way of viewing himself is endearing, and his songs are deeply personal. “I use songwriting as therapy,” he says. “I think other people will relate to these songs. Finding happiness daily is not an easy thing.”

Recorded at Key Club Recording Co. in Benton Harbor, Wisconsin, the album was co-produced by Masterson and Bill Skibbe, best known as engineer for The Black Keys, Dead Weather, The Kills and many others. The duo succeeded in bringing Masterson’s own unique perspective to the Americana music he makes, his sound boasting a Midwestern bounce and jangle coupled with Nashville wail and grit. It’s easy, it’s familiar, it’s twangy-goodness, pedal-steel Southern rock; it’s a dusty ride down a road winding through rural Wisconsin (he grew up in the small town of Butternut, Wisconsin) or backwoods Tennessee.

Blurt   magazine premiered the title track, "Haunted Heart"

LONDON, U.K. (Press Release)— Jack Sandham
and  Wednesday  Lyle  may hail from London, but their musical homeland is rooted in pure Americana — it’s the sound of Memphis’  Beale Street   and  Sun Studios, Mississippi Delta roadhouses and New Orleans’ Bourbon Street.  As  Cowbell, Sandham and Lyle distill essential elements of raw R&B, garage rock, soul, blues and rockabilly into a spirited sonic cocktail with a ’60s twist that will get your head spinning and your hips shaking.

Their new album  Haunted Heart  (due    June 2, 2017, on  Damaged Goods Records) finds Sandham (guitar/vocals) and Lyle (drums/vocals) refining and expanding their vivid garage-soul sound. The title track opens this self-produced disc with a bracing dose of rockabilly swagger powered by Sandham’s gritty guitar licks and Lyle’s freight train rhythms.
